" --- # Laldie Ceilidh featuring Rerr Terr Ceilidh Band [**← **Back to What's On](https://assemblyroxy.com/whats-on) [  # Laldie Ceilidh featuring Rerr Terr Ceilidh Band - **3-hour high-energy ceilidh** - **Authentic, fun traditional Scottish dance experience** - **Fewer tickets means extra space for dancing** - **Licensed Bar** - **Live music and calling (dance instruction) from the band** - **Designed to enable beginners among experienced dancers** - **Free optional beginners’ class before the ceilidh** Doors open at 7.45pm. Ceilidh starts 8pm, ends 11pm. Suitable for all fun-loving people, including first timers. Ceilidh isn't about perfection; it's about having fun trying. All ages and all abilities are welcome. We demonstrate, walk through and call dances to suit the overall crowd on the day - and there are always experienced dancers to follow. First-timers and beginners are invited to come early for a free half-hour class in ceilidh dance basics. Doors open at 7.05pm for the class starting at 7.15pm. Please select the appropriate ticket. Come along in a group, come along with a partner, come along on your own: there are plenty of opportunities to meet and dance with other people. One source may sell out before the other. At Laldie Ceilidhs our aim is to curate the best possible ceilidh dance events. We like high-energy, we like dance variety, we work with the best bands and the best venues we know. We believe that the best ceilidhs come about when there is a mix of beginners and experienced dancers. We value the contribution made by active repeat ceilidh-goers with a discount on a limited number of adult tickets: returning customers are invited to contact us at hello@laldieceilidhs.co.uk for the promo code and to share it with one another. We often take photos and video at our events and we publish some images (including on social media and other websites) for general interest and for promotional purposes.
