During August we create and run many Festival venues in Edinburgh's central Old Town jam-packed with great theatre, comedy, music and more. Assembly George Square is our largest hub with a range of venues and bars; George Square Gardens hosting our Spiegletents, George Square Studios fill the University of Edinburgh buildings on the East of the Gardens and George Square Theatre long with the Box and Container yard complete this vibrant centre of activity. Assembly Hall is a magnificent building visible across much of the city centre; it contains both our largest and smallest performances venues and has a lively bar in the Quad. Assembly Roxy is a beautiful former church and has three performance venues and the lovely Snug Bar, as well as a pop up garden bar on Roxburgh place. Assembly Checkpoint, located on Bristo Place is in full swing once again, hosting a major part of music and cabaret programme.
There's a dedicated website with details of all of our shows: AssemblyFestival.com.
